Privacy notice

We collect your name, email, home address, optional business address, listing content, and (if you opt in) how we may contact you about donations for fundraisers. We use this information to run your account (email one-time codes instead of a password), to publish the public fields you chose, to moderate listings, and — only if you ticked the donation box — to contact you about KCL fundraising. Donation preferences are not shown on the public directory. Login uses your home address, unit number if any, and email. A one-time code is sent to that email via SendGrid. Public pages may show company name, description, services, category, tags, logo, member-discount text, and the public contact details and address rules for your listing type. Home addresses are not published unless you run a home-based business and choose to show your home address. For neighbours listing a company they work for, we show the company, not your role. This site uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to reduce spam and abuse. Google may collect device and usage data according to its privacy policy. We keep listing and account records while the account exists and for a reasonable period after, so we can handle support and expiry. You can ask us to correct or remove your listing by emailing support@kensingtoncl.ca. We do not sell your information. The site is operated in Alberta, Canada.
